Before the race events, all entrants must complete a minimum of one exploration run, plus a minimum of one full practice run. You can only participate if you complete both exploration and full practice to a standard deemed safe by race officials*.

You must be 16 years old or over to apply. To enter the competition every participant must provide official ID and complete a disclaimer. Wearing a helmet is mandatory in the competition.

*Race organisers and their representatives reserve the right to refuse entry to the competition. Refunds will not be given in the event that an entrant fails to complete either an exploration run or full practice run to the required safety standard. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure he/she is suitably prepared and competent for the race.

QUALIFICATION
The first competitive event is a time trial run. The results will determine the heats for the knockout stage!

KNOCKOUT STAGE
Depending on the amount of successful entrants, the knockout stage will involve a maximum of 32 riders of men and 32 women. Riders will be grouped competitively according to the results achieved in the time trial.
In each heat, 4 riders will race against each other.
The first two in each heat to finish will advance to the next round. -
RANKINGS
Riders 1 to 4 are ranked according to their finishing places in the final heat.
All other riders are ranked according to the heat in which they are eliminated (e.g. semifinals), their finishing places in that heat (3rd or 4th), and finally their rankings in the time trial respective to those riders who were eliminated in the same heat.

THAT IS:
The two riders eliminated in the two semifinal heats finishing 3rd, shall be ranked 5th and 6th–depending on who was faster in the time trial.
All riders eliminated in the quarterfinals finishing 4th shall be ranked from 13 to 16, according to their rankings in the time trial list.

The two riders eliminated in the two semifinal heats finishing 4th, shall be ranked 7th and 8th–depending on who was faster in the time trial.
All athletes who are not qualified for the knockout stage shall be ranked according to their performance in the time trials.

All riders eliminated in the quarterfinals finishing 3rd shall be ranked from 9 to 12, accordingto their rankings in the time trial list.

RULES
Snowcross is not a contact sport! Physical contact during the race, including interference by means of holding, pushing, hitting, and deliberate hindrance resulting in a competitor’s slowing down, falling, or drifting off-course shall lead to automatic disqualification.
Unavoidable “casual contact” may be acceptable.
Committee decisions are final. Re-runs due to intentional contact will not be permitted. An athlete who is disqualified because of intentional contact will automatically be ranked last in the respective round (DNS excluded). -
All contact infractions shall be sanctioned at the discretion of the Competition Committee.
Any disqualifications shall be announced immediately after each heat in a designated area at the bottom and/or top of the track.
If, for any reason, an athlete Did Not Start (DNS) at the starting gate, he will be disqualified.
A false start is considered a disqualification.

FREESTYLE CONTEST
This is about stunts, skills, and fun! Showcase your skills on the competition stage! Twists, flips, figures, and everything you can imagine. You have to amaze the crowd and the 3 judges, who will choose who is the best! Jumps will be judged based on athleticism, technicality, and attitude!
